Abjuration, a kind of magic found in Kaniros, used by the Nemer. Abjuration is the type of Nemer magic whose spells defend against anything, from physical to mental harm.

Novice[]
- Shield - A very simple spell, manifests a wall of magical force around the caster, deflecting away damage and enhancing their reflexes significantly.
- Remove Fear - increases the subject's courage and morale in the face of fear effects.
- Dark mirror - A spell that can counter, reflect, or penetrate darkness spells.
- Arcane lock - Allowed the caster to lock closed entryways magically.
Apprentice[]
- Remove curse - a spell that could permanently eliminate all curses on an object or a creature,
- Remove disease - magically removes any diseases and kills any parasites from which the subject is suffering.
- Counterspell - a spell that attempts to stop another spell from being cast.
Adept[]
- Stoneskin - turns a target's skin stony to block blows, cuts, stabs, and slashes to a greater extent than it's alteration counterparts.
- Proof - Grants the target or caster immunity to the element of choice.
- Dispel magic - negates magic on a creature or object, or interferes with casting spells and the use of spell-like abilities.
Expert[]
- Cleanse Water - Purifies a body of water, removing all poisons, toxins, salt, or any other effects.
- Antimagic field - nullifies all magic within a 10-foot sphere.
- Spell turning - spells and spell-like effects are turned back upon the original caster. Effect and area spells are not affected.
- Mind Blank - renders all mind-affecting spell useless.

- Spell Mantle - creates a barrier around the caster that absorbs all incoming spells.
- Disjunction - strips all magical effects from a single or group of targets.
