Assault on Drey

The Assault on Drey was a battle of the First Great War, between Esroniet and the Mermidon Republic for control of the forest city of Drey, a major Momer trading center. Initially, the Momer managed to repel the various Esronietan attacks from the city walls, and through various counterattacks, but eventually they were betrayed by a Mage, who led the Esronietans through a secret passage, they were beaten back but at a great cost. Eventually, the Esronietans captured Drey and put its defenders to the sword.
