Baanluhn is the Dunmeris name for the city of Blacklight, the capital of Morrowind. From here, the Grand Council convenes in the Rootspire to make decisions that affect the entirety of the republic.
Each Great House maintains an official residence in Blacklight. The greatest of these is House Redoran's residence, which is the famous Palace of Baanluhn. When the Grand Council is in session, the Houses will throw massive and fantastic parties, each trying to outdo the other in terms of opulence and splendor.
