Ciana is a Breton witch and a member of the triad of powerful mages called the Gray Witches, which serve the Third Gray Host. She has great mastery of her vampirism, making her one of the peak living vampires and allowing her to be classified as a monster lord. Ciana also has very high talent as a witch, which is in addition to her already considerable natural abilities.
Background[]
Prior to her infamy as the third of the Gray Witches, it is uncertain where Ciana originated from, save for records from the Evermore government that she was indeed born to a port town (previously known as Murcien's Hamlet) north of the capital of northern Bangkorai. Her guardian, later revealed to be a vampire, was found out by the town's populace and lynched. Although seemingly rescued, Ciana became cold and distant to everyone in the settlement, refusing to speak with any of them. She retreated to seclusion in a small house not far from the port town. Eventually, she vanished without a trace from her home, to the concern and bewilderment of the port town's inhabitants.
Ciana was reported missing until her reappearance decades later, where eyewitness reports detail her as among the attackers that summoned a magical Harrowstorm to devastate the entire port town and kill almost the entirety of the settlement's populace.

Appearance[]
Ciana appears as a youthful woman with crimson eyes and jet-black hair. Her nature as a monster lord among vampires has allowed her to retain her human appearance and grants her eternal youth, preventing the normally disfiguring transformation that other vampires undergo.
Personality[]
In her early years, Ciana was a gentle and caring soul and was known to be as kind 'as a wholehearted Priestess of Mara' by some who knew her. Her personality underwent a shift when her vampire caregiver was slain during a lynching at her hometown however, making her distant from others, even hateful.
Upon her return from her disappearance, she proved to be cold and heartless to the people of her former hometown, showing no remorse when she eradicated nearly the entirety of the town's populace through a Harrowstorm.
Powers and Abilities[]
As a vampiric Scion of Lamae Bal's strain and a Monster Lord, Ciana possesses immense power, skill, and control of her vampiric nature. As such, she is able to utilize the skills and abilities of a Scion on a level above most ancient vampires and Vampire Lords. As a witch, she possesses great affinity for the arcane as well, utilizing Shadow magic with great flair and power.
Ciana also possesses incredible speed and strength, her physical parameters not inferior to her magical ones, as she is a Monster Lord. This makes her dangerous to fight even if she is not using her magic, as her fingers are capable of producing corrosive toxin and her innate strength is enough to pulverise normal humans with a single hit. This enables her to fight even Perfect Body users.
Ciana can also summon and maintain harrowstorms without the aid of witch pikes or the ritual itself, being able to generate a one for one replicate with magical power alone. She doesn’t need a reliquary either unless she intends to summon monsters and ghosts by making use of the harvested energy.

As Ciana has considerable magical and physical abilities, she does not require equipment to aid her in most cases. Her clothing is purely decorative and serves no purpose in combat. However, she still owns a powerful magic sword with unknown properties, which she can use with great skill if necessary.
