Hopesfire and Trueflame are a pair of swords forged by the Dwemer to be wielded by Indoril Nerevar and his wife Indoril Almalexia. In the late 3rd Era they came into the possession of the Nerevarine. Before he mysteriously disappeared the Neverarine passed the weapons down to his son, who in turn later passed them down to his son. They are two of the most treasured artifacts of House Nerevar and are wielded by its leader.

Hopesfire is a one-handed sword and a Dwemer artifact. It was commissioned by King Dumac as a wedding day gift presented to Almalexia and Nerevar, along with its twin, Trueflame. This weapon is surrounded by a constant blue flame and has a shock effect. The weapon initially belonged to Indoril Almalexia but when she was defeated by the Nerevarine in the 3rd Era he claimed the sword. Since then the sword has been a treasured artifact of House Nerevar and has been passed down from generation to generation. The current wielder of the sword is Joran Nerevar.

Trueflame is a one-handed sword and a Dwemer artifact. It was commissioned by King Dumac as a wedding gift for Saint Nerevar when he married Almalexia, who possess its twin, Hopesfire. It initially belonged to Indoril Nerevar and was destroyed during the battle of Red Mountain. In the 3rd Era it was re-forged by Yagak gro-Gluk and re-enchanted by Radac Stungnthumz, a Dwemer specter. It was then wielded by the Nerevarine until he passed it down, along with Hopesfire, to his son. It has since become a treasured artifact of House Nerevar and has been passed down from generation to generation. The current wielder of the sword is Joran Nerevar.
