House Indaram's Banner

Thank you for justice, Lord Vivec. I shall be neither cruel, nor arbitrary, for fair dealing earns the love, thrust, and respect of our people.

— The Grace of Justice

House Indaram is one of the Great Houses of Morrowind. Like Uvenim, it is one of the youngest Houses, established in only 4E 7. During the period when they were still the Armigers, but after Vivec's disappearance, they were instrumental in the Eastmarch War.

Indaram was born out of the Buoyant Armigers who, after the destruction of Vivec City, the disappearance of Vivec, and the end of the Ghostfence, no longer had a purpose. However, they were still a significant military and political power, and so House Redoran had them reform into House Indaram. In the early Fourth Era, Indaram's ranks swelled as, with the advent of the Reclamations, a number of Ashlanders joined their house. Indaram is the only Great House to receive Ashlander members.

The House is proud of its long service to Vvardenfell and has extensive lands there. Because of the House's youth, small size, and insignificance of their estate (Vvardenfell is mainly choked ash), they are largely considered the weakest house. However, they inherited a proud history and lineage from their time as the Buoyant Armigers, and so are well respected. They also have one of the greatest warriors traditions, only slightly beat out by Redoran.

House Indaram is frequently referred to as "the House of Ulain" because they were the beneficiaries and inheritors of many of his projects. Ulain himself had a known soft spot for the Bouyant Armigers. They are also occasionally called "the House of Vvardenfell."

Saint Vehk, an interpretation of Vivec, is their patron saint. One of Indaram's greatest concerns is the preservation of his legacy.

Morgiah Indaram is the current Warrior-Poet.
