Jyggalag is the Prince of Order also known as He Who Stills, the God of Before and After, Greyking, Eldest to Stone, Inheritor of the Sixteen, and finally the Bedrock of all that is Logic and Reason.

Background[]

In time immemorial, Jyggalag was cursed and twisted into the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath, doomed to return once an Era in the Greymarch to reap his revenge on the Shivering Isles. In 4E 1, he was freed by Titus Mede to once again wander the realms of Oblivion.

In 4E 41 he launched another Greymarch, this time to reclaim all of Oblivion in his name. As of 4E 210, it has been ongoing for one hundred and sixty-nine years.

Jyggalag is known as cruel and merciless. A perfect universe is one in which everything has, and rests in, its proper place and the chance for chaos has been rendered to infinitesimally small, statistically irrelevant figure. Jyggalag considers free will and choice to be things that inconvenience his vision of the universe: Aurbis is chaos and from it he will make order. He has little patience for mortal worshippers, viewing them as fickle and impermanent.

Since 4E 41 Jyggalag has sat unmoving in the Fortress of Ramifications, which appears as a giant perfectly symmetrical diamond. He prefers to reign from his plane in Oblivion as it allows him to easily command his Knights of Order, each of which is an extension of his own mind. His plane has no name aside from a series of ones and zeroes and is best referred to as simply the "Realm of Order" or "Jyggalag's Plane."

Jyggalag will rarely make use of mortal servants. These chosen few serve him as Priests of Order. He also has three immortal lieutenants who have served him loyally since the dawn of time, having been on a brief hiatus during his time as Sheogorath. They are Agemon Tallking, the demigod Arilemna, and the Daedric Lord Rahn.

Azura is his committed enemy.
