The Lion Ring is the principal crown jewel ofTaneth. It is the signet ring of Taneth's ruler and passed between monarchs of the al Din dynasty, first forged upon Rej al Din's ascension.
The lion on the ring's head represents and resembles the same lion that is on the al Din's coat of arms. The ring is a symbol of office and whoever carries it also carries the authority of Taneth's monarch. Letters bearing the ring's seal in wax are considered to come directly from the king or queen.
