Markos Seven-Fingers, his last name granted to him during the Skyrim Civil War, is a Nord Barbarian and former Legionnaire who is currently hunting Goriyn Mortis.

Background

Markos served in the Imperial Legion in order to gain his citizenship and move from the province of Skyrim into Cyrodiil with his wife and newborn son. There, he started the village of Kyne's Folly with a few other Nordic immigrants, and it quickly grew. Markos lived a satisfying life there, until the start of the Jorane rebellion. He spoke out against the rebellion, when they came to Kyne's Folly asking for tribute, and as a warning to the village, and others, Goriyn Mortis killed his son. Markos set out to get his revenge, at any cost, now a man with nothing to lose.

Personality

Before Hjalti's death, Markos was shown to a be a brave, giving man, who wanted the best for people. He was a good father and proud of his family, as well as a loving husband. Watching his son die, however, drastically changed him. He became determined to kill Goriyn Mortis, having no other desire but to do so. Anything beyond that does not hold his attention or he ignores. Markos does not speak much, simply unable to find the energy to make pointless conversation, and is angry at the world. He seems unable to experience any positive emotions at this point, and is usually either ambivalent about something or it upsets him. He does, however, still not like injustice-- when Tarshal is racist he fantasizes about murdering the man-- but he doesn't have the will to do anything about it. He is also self-destructive, and will do anything to see Mortis dead.
