Morgenlys was a legendary sword of Atmora "The best of all swords that have been carried in northern lands", it is renowned for supernatural sharpness and hardness, It is an Adamantium Greatsword from the Merethic Era and a heirloom of the North-Steel Family.

History[]

The legendary blade Morgenlys was originally forged in Atmora and are among the oldest swords on Nirn, it was forged by Gudbrand Norðan-stál an Atmoran Blacksmith of unparalleled skill and determination. He forged it for his son, Hrolf's 18th birthday, it was to be used for conquest of Atmora, although the opportunity never came. And Hrolf gave it to his own son when he became 18 years of age. Passing on the sword to the eldest son at their 18th birthday became tradition and it has stayed that way until the Fourth Era, when it fell into the hands of Egil North-Steel and Ellina North-Steel, descendants of Gudbrand and Hrólf Norðan-stál.

Enchantment[]

Morgenlys is the perfect Vampire Slaying weapon, in addition to it's extreme Sharpness it has a sun enchantment that would burn any undead to a crisp, this sword never dulls and retains it's legendary sharpness even over 4000 years after it's creation.
