It's been seven years since the destruction of the Imperial City and the start of the Fifth Era, in the blink of an eye the Ancient Ayleid city was destroyed in a fiery explosion, taking thousands of years of history with it. This was one of many attrocities committed by Telemachus Dion, the false Emperor, who seized power during the second Oblivion Crisis, all in pursuit of his mad fears of a greater threat.
New Imperia, the City built on the ruins of the Imperial City is currently under contruction, work has been quite swift as many of its former residents who either fled the city or were forced to live as slaves during that time were returned to rebuild their home.
It rappidly expands daily as the people find themselves eager to return to their normal lives after the seemingly cataclysmic reign of the False Emperor. Empress Naissance Aube, the bastard daughter of former emperor Soir Aube has been working none stop to undo the damage inflicted by Telemachus. Slavery is still an issue across Tamriel for all races and she has decreed that it is forbidden, slavers who do not release their slaves will have them removed by any means necessary.
Despite this, slavery and other injustices still continue, both as physical manifest in the world of Tamriel and in the scorned hearts and minds of its people. With the entire continent working together, things were looking promising.
However, people are beginning to feel uneasy at the prospect of disturbing rumours, coming out of Morrowind. Apparently villages have been left bare overnight, torn apart and ransacked for anything metal, no survivors were found at the scene nor any bodies. Whoever or whatever is doing this is taking people in alive for unknown purposes and so far, nothing has been able to stand in their way.
Rules
1. You can have as many characters as you want but try not to go overboard, only create as many as you can handle.
2. Take this seriously. No messing around!: If you find yourself bored, then write a flashback or a dream sequence and develop your character and if you can’t be bothered doing that, then go away and do something else for a bit.
Do not annoy others, simply because you are bored.
3. You can not kill or maim (remove the limbs off of) other player characters, without the creator’s permission. You can if they agree to it, or if the contributor has left the RP some time ago.
4. You are not any of the TeS protagonists as their names, races and pasts are unknown. You can hint towards it if you like but it'll only be the case in your head.
·5. You can not be a Divine or a Daedric prince or any over powered super race.
6. You cannot be overpowered: By this I mean…
No avoiding damage or ignoring it: You take hits, just like you dish them out. You may block or dodge attacks but one in three musthit you. No ridiculously over powered super-spells: Anything that allows you to destroy powerful enemies in one hit or gives you a majorly unfair advantage over other players and NPCs will be considered over powered. You cannot destroy a building or a settlement in one post: Depending on the building’s size; you must destroy it over the course of several posts. The only exception is during Flashbacks, dream sequences or during written plot pieces (over the course of a paragraph or two).
‘Fridge Magic’ is also considered a form of overpoweredness. Fridge Magic is spontaneous luck, which allows the player to avoid damage or consequence for their actions, where the stars align to always make sure that one character stands tall and is completely invulnerable to whatever is thrown at them. It can be done accidentally, so it’s not treated as harshly, but please undo it if multiple people call you out on it or if the GM calls you out on it.
7. This RP takes place in the year 5E 7 (103 years after Skyrim)
8. Your character can be from any province in Tamriel.
9. You can be any of the nine races. (No modded races, Half Breeds are okay and non vanilla races maybe accepted, so long as their presence makes sense.)
10. You can take control of any NPC (e.g.Toutius Sextius VI), as long as no one else is controlling them at the time. (Also don't go to over the top with powerful NPC's)
11. If you write a piece, you can add the occasional song or track in a link to the RP, use () to state that you are adding a track.
12. You can have Flashbacks: Unless you have arrangements with another player, you cannot interact with another player’s characters in a flashback, you can with NPCs.
13. You can also write dream sequences: In a dream, most rules do not apply but only, because dreams have no bearing on the plot or actual world. Anything that happened in the dream stays in the dream; therefore dreams should only be kept to one or two post.
14. Do not forget to add a Character card…

The Story so far... (Aube Catchup for those who don't know/don't remember)
This RP takes place seven years after Aubeanic Reign, here's a quick refresher as to what happened in that RP.
Emperor Soir Aube was assassinated by a cult known as the Rising Sun, the Sun's leaders wished to destroy the barriers between the realm of Tamriel and the Realm of Oblivion. Telemachus Dion and another group of travellers went to find the heir but found themselves betrayed by Telemachus, who hijacked the resistence effort, took the heir and took control of the Imperial City.
The Companionship were forced to flee as he constantly sent enemy after enemy after them, whilst building up a resistance. During this time Telemachus legalized slavery, to fund his plans. These plans aren't fully known to anyone, however, it would seem that he wanted to destroy Tamriel and recreate it in the form of a paradise, similar to that of Mankar Cameron's, where he was a God, in full control.
The Companionship and other rebellions proved persistant, Telemachus planned to lure them to the Imperial City and destroy it in an effort ot kill everyone involved. However, he didn't count on Arch Mage: Telim Oakvale Teleporting them out of the city, just before detonation.
They found their way to him and after a long battle, Telemachus was finally defeated and the world was finally free of both him and the Rising Sun's threat.
